Product Overview
Leonetto Cappiello (9. April 1875 in Livorno, Italy – 2. February 1942 in Cannes, France) was an Italian poster art designer who lived in Paris. He is now often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design. This posters is the first Cappiello for an actual product. At the time of its printing, the company's owner wrote to Vercasson saying, "We are happy to tell you that we are very satisfied with both the design and the printing of the poster Cappiello made for our 'Amandines de Provinces.' We found it at once original and very personal". Such praise is well-deserved, as one cat almost feel the crisp almond crunch of the cookie as it snaps into her mouth. There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
