Occasionally the back cover to the science fiction pulp magazines did not have advertising. The Amazing stories collection occasionally put art there as well. This design, Atomic Airships of Mars, is by Malcolm Hadden Smith (1910–1966). He was an American artist identified with the retro-futurist tradition. June 1942. There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
