Staying underwater for any length of time required a special apparatus. This suit and air pump allowed a person to work underwater as oxygen was sent down to the diver. This design was only adopted in part but it is the precursor to the modern day wetsuit. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct. Many sizes available.
