The German Horticultural Society was founded in 1822 in Berlin as the "Association for the promotion of horticulture in the Prussian State" and was the first gardening association in Germany. Poster for one of their exhibitions in 1890. Alexander Kips (Born July 22, 1858 and died May 6, 1910) was a German painter and especially porcelain painter. He was 1886-1908 artistic director of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin. There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
