Product Overview
In 1785 Lionel Lukin, a London coach builder, fitted up a Norway Yawl with air boxes at the stem and stern, and fixed a belt of solid cork along the outside of the gunwale, thus making the first insubmersible boat. In 1824 the Royal National Lifeboat association was found. In 1915, the fleet consisted of over 280 boats including 13 motor-lifeboats. Over 50,000 lives have been saved. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct. Many sizes available.
