Product Overview
This label features a pin-up girl. It was made for the J. (Bud) Vukasovich co. for packing its seasonal vegetables from Arizona or California. The use of the sexy woman was to make their brand stick in the mind of their buyers. Vegetable and Fruit crate labels were produced between the 1890's and 1950's to highlight one brand over another and increase sales in a market with fierce competition. Printed cardboard boxes made this art form obsolete. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct. Many sizes available.
