Product Overview
Steam turbine engines were at first only used for driving electro-dynamos at a very high speed. Our picture shows one of immense turbines which are worked by the power of the water of Niagara Falls. This engine will generate enough electricity to light a town, and weighs 180 tons. During the Victorian era, this style of turbine was being used with great success for driving both battleships and merchant vessels. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct.
