Product Overview

Howard R. Garis (April 25, 1873 – November 6, 1962) was one of the most influential children's authors of the day, best known for his endearing Uncle Wiggily Longears books. This booklet, Uncle Wiggily and the Snow Plow, was published in 1939 by Platt and Munk. It is a soft cover booklet with 12 back to back pages that include the covers. It is beautifully illustrated by George Carlson in color and in black and white. A pamphlet style paperback book with a children's tale about Uncle Wiggly. Uncle Wiggily Longears is an engaging elderly rabbit, lame from rheumatism. Wherever he goes, he always relies on a red, white, and blue crutch - described as being "striped like a barber-pole." There is a border around the image. The image size is correct. Many sizes available.
